Students often struggle making the leap between visual/concrete to abstract. Solving equations symbolically is an entirely new language for students. This course is designed to help students form a conceptual understanding of the algebraic manipulations they are performing when solving equations.
 
Students will work their way through different levels, each with a new action or added complexity.
 
Level 3 - Dividing by a Coefficient
Visualize variable terms that have a coefficient larger than 1.
Understand how to balance an equation (scale) with integer coefficients.
Solve equations both visually and algebraically (side-by-side) which involve the action of dividing by a coefficient.
