Students often struggle making the leap between visual/concrete to abstract. Solving equations symbolically is an entirely new language for students. This course is designed to help students form a conceptual understanding of the algebraic manipulations they are performing when solving equations.
 
Students will work their way through different levels, each with a new action or added complexity.
 
Level 6 - Practice Using Mix of Four Actions
Review the four actions we've learned (Subtract Constant, Add Constant, Divide by Coefficient, Subtract Variable)
Solve equations where you have to subtract a variable and then divide by the coefficient (actions #4 and #3)
Solve puzzles where you have to subtract a variable and the add/subtract a constant
Solve puzzles where you have to subtract a variable, add/subtract a constant, then divide by the coefficient
Summarize strategy when solving
